Burghley Boutique is available exclusively for the duration of Defender Burghley Horse Trials.
To enjoy the full event, we offer a 5-night stay from Wednesday, 3rd September, until Monday morning.
For 2025, we’ll continue to offer shorter stays of 3 or 4 nights for arrivals strictly from Thursday or Friday, with check-in strictly from Noon.
Yes! Burghley Boutique opens officially from noon on Wednesday, the 3rd of September.
If you plan to arrive Wednesday or before Noon on Thursday – please book a 5-night stay.
The shortest stay is on Friday night for three nights.
Yes! We no offer a stay from Friday for three nights is the choice for you.
Our minimum stay is 3 nights from Friday, September 5th, so you may stay until Breakfast on Monday morning or simply check out Sunday evening and still enjoy all the facilities.
Yes! All guests are welcome to stay until Monday morning after Breakfast – which is perfect if you’re planning to book a visit at Burghley House.
All bookings can be made directly online with a 50% deposit.
All bookings can be made with a 50% deposit or paid in full.
All balances are due by 6th August 2025 latest.
Please save your original booking email which includes a link to pay whenever you wish before the deadline.
Yes! It is possible to upgrade your booking and/or add guests – subject to availability. Just reply via your booking email with your request, and we’ll get back to you!
Guests may cancel by clear notice in writing (letter or email to us) at any time before the booking check-in date.
We will refund booking fees subject to the following deductions based on the length of notice of cancellation for the check-in date.
(i) Up to 8 weeks / 56 days before 10%
(ii) 4-8 weeks before 50%
(iii) 4 weeks before non-refundable
Yes! Parking is available next to the walled garden, with convenient access to our reception and your accommodation.
Parking is available for the duration of your stay only.
Yes! Breakfast is included in your booking and is served daily.
One towel per person and all your bedding will be provided in your tent.
We recommend bringing any extras like a quick dry sports towel for your hair etc.
Yes! Each Tent or Yurt comes equipped with a double power socket suitable for three pin plugs and for charging mobile phone devices and similar low voltage devices.
Unfortunately, the power is not suitable for hairdryers, nor kettles, as they will blow a fuse.
Yes! In addition to amenities such as toilets and showers, there will be a pamper tent equipped with mirrors, hairdryers and straighteners – or you may bring your own!
Toilets & Showers are provided onsite.
Regarding facilities onsite, we can have a combined wheelchair-accessible toilet & shower if we receive sufficient notice in advance.
The grounds are generally grassy, with some paths and a gravel entrance.
We have standard golf cart buggies that shuttle people to and from Lion Bridge, or you may use the walking route via Burghley Park independently.
A Bell Tent or Emperor Bell Tent would be more suitable as the entrance is wider than the Yurts.

In addition to your accommodation booking, you must purchase admission tickets for Defender Burghley Horse Trials, and car passes if you wish to drive to the event. We strongly suggest that all our guests do this before the event; many ticket types sell out before the event and advance discount prices.
