Competition Terms & Conditions

This competition is administered by Burghley Boutique and Burghley Horse Trials Ltd and is subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Who can enter?

The Prize Draw is open to customers who submit their contact details via the form provided. The Prize Draw is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over only, excluding employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

2. Opening/Closing date & time

Prize Draw opens for entries on Wednesday, 22 May 2024.

Prize Draw closes for entries on Wednesday, 29 May 2024, at 11:59 BST

3. Prize

The winner of the prize draw will receive:

2 x 4 DAY SEASON TICKETS & CAR PASS to the Defender Burghley Horse Trials 5-8TH September, 2024

1 x Five-night stay in an Emperor Bell Tent Super Deluxe for two* at Burghley Boutique – from Midday Wednesday 4th September, 2024 until 11 am Monday 9th September, 2024.

  • No cash equivalent (where applicable) or alternative prize will be given at the winner’s request, and the prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
  • The Emperor Bell Tent as a Super Deluxe for two is available as a double or two singles.
  • BHT Ltd reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of the prize in circumstances beyond its reasonable control without any obligation.
  • Should the event be partially or fully cancelled Burghley Horse Trials Ltd are not responsible for any costs incurred by the winner e.g. travel costs etc.
  • By attending BHT you do so entirely at your own risk**

4. Winner selection & contact

The draw for all entries will occur within 24 hours after the closing date and will be announced directly via email by Friday, 31st of May. Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn randomly from all eligible entries will win the prize. The prize is time-sensitive, and the winner will be contacted on or after the close date.

The winner must consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded for marketing, broadcast, or security purposes during, and before, the show, as required. By entering the competition the winner authorises such photography and recording and permits the BHT to use their images, likeness, and voice for archival and promotional purposes in any and all media, without liability, compensation, or credit.

5. How to enter & cost of entry

Once you submit your details via the form, you will automatically be entered into the prize draw. Competition entry is free of charge. The winner is responsible for informing the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements when accepting the prize and adhering to any applicable health and safety guidelines. There is no cash alternative. General terms and conditions apply. Only one entry per full name and email address will be accepted.
 

6. Data Retention:

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. We will securely delete or anonymise your data when it is no longer needed.
